We are excited to announce that Ramon Palacios, ICADC (Internationally Certified Alcohol & Drug Counselor) has joined our treatment team at NWA. Ramon, the owner of HeartCry Recovery - an adult wilderness program, brings an extensive background in working with adolescents, young adults, and adults in addressing substance addictions. Ramon will be working with our students weekly to support their individualized recovery plans. Ramon will oversee and deliver our extensive recovery offerings which include: weekly substance abuse groups, relapse prevention groups, on campus 12-Step meetings and experiential recovery workshops and that these are seamlessly integrated into each students overall treatment plan. Working alongside our interdisciplinary treatment team, Ramon brings a wealth of insight, knowledge and experience to support our students with their drug and alcohol issues.

About NWA: Located in mountainous and beautiful North Idaho, Northwest Academy is an accredited therapeutic boarding school serving older adolescents, between the ages of 16-18. We offer accelerated academics, licensed clinical services, and substance abuse treatment for students who are struggling academically, emotionally, and behaviorally, in the home environment.
