NorthStar Academy Receives
CARF Accreditation

NorthStar Academy is proud to announce that we have received a full three-year accreditation from the Commission on the Accreditation of Rehabilitation Facilities (CARF).

This achievement is due in large part to the dedicated staff of NorthStar; to the parents and students who have been a part of our journey; and to all of our colleagues who have lent us their support and wisdom.

NorthStar Academy is a transitional day treatment program for bright yet struggling teens and their families. In the "therapeutically supportive community, teens will find the resources to support their cognitive, emotional, and social development. The program is mindful of individual learning styles and emotional challenges, and integrates strategies that maximize opportunities for growth and success."

The NorthStar program is designed to meet the needs of:

Adolescents returning from stays in wilderness/residential treatment and short-term hospital programs.

Adolescents for whom an intensive outpatient therapeutic intervention may provide the needed stabilization to avoid out-of-home placement.

We are committed to continue to ASPIRE to Excellence and provide the highest possible quality services to the teens and families who come through our doors.
