The team at Next Step Recovery is pleased to welcome two new staff members to the team:
Brian Nolan is our new Office Manager. Brian uses his extensive office management experience to ensure our office runs smoothly, and h e educates prospective residents and families about our transitional living program for men and women. Brian also supports current residents on a daily basis, drawing on his own experience working on his individual 12-step program and being a strong support to those newly in recovery.
Tom Ostrander grew up on a small farm in northern Michigan where he developed a love for the outdoors. Tom brings rich life experiences with him to Next Step Recovery including serving as a pastor for three churches and working as a corporate sales manager. Tom holds master's degrees in both Divinity and Business Administration.
In 2007, Tom followed his passion for service and the outdoors and joined Aspen Education at Four Circles Recovery Center. He became the second wilderness guide to reach the senior level and is certified as a WFR and NCI-CPI. Tom's interests also include martial arts, Native American spirituality and the Red Road.
We are also excited to announce that our Next Step Recovery women's house clinician, Laura Haas, will be overseeing our women's program with support staff Maria & Ashley.
For the past 6 months, Laura has led both our Life Skills and Relapse Prevention Classes twice a week and has provided excellent support for all of our female residents. Congratulations Laura!
