NEXT STEP FOR SUCCESS® is pleased to announce that Benchmark Young Adult School has contracted to provide coach training for select staff. Bill Valentine and Barb Cass will conduct "Coaching Young Adults in Program", an intensive coach training and certifying course, at the Benchmark site over a 5-day period from August 6 - 10, 2007.
NEXT STEP offers coach training courses in three different formats to suit the needs and requirements of individual and organization participants. Instruction is presented either by teleconference phone calls or on-site visits by Certified Coach trainers.
Successful completion of these courses will result in certification by the International Coach Federation for coach specific training hours.
Option #1 - STANDARD course:
20-week curriculum providing 30 hours of instruction.
Training by teleconference phone calls.
NOTE: The next STANDARD course is scheduled September 11, 2007 - February 19, 2008 (with 4 break weeks)
Option #2 - EXTENDED course:
13-week curriculum provides 39 hours of instruction.
Training by on-site visits and teleconference phone calls.
Option #3 - INTENSIVE course:
7-week curriculum provides 36 hours of instruction.
Training by on-site visit and teleconferencing phone calls.
A fourth option that does not result in certification is a one-day staff training in "The Five Critical Coaching Skills". This training provides staff with concepts in basic coaching such as:
