Sarah Stewart
Joins Newport Academy

We are privileged to announce that Sarah Stewart, MSW, is now part of the Newport Academy team. As many of you know, Sarah is an exceptional professional and we are fortunate that she will be assuming the role of National Director of Clinical Outreach.

Sarah has been working in the mental health and substance abuse field for 20 years. She has worked as a clinician, treating adolescents, adults, and families in both inpatient and outpatient facilities. Sarah was a director of outpatient services for a psychiatric hospital on the East Coast and owned a consulting practice working with struggling teens and their families on the West Coast. She holds a Master's degree in Social Work and is trained in Critical Incident Stress Debriefing. Over the last 5 years, Sarah's business development positions have allowed her to visit many residential treatment facilities, outpatient facilities, and private practitioners, nationwide.

In Sarah's words: "I love the work I do. I have been fortunate to work with a large network of providers and treatment facilities throughout my career and I am excited to bring my experience to the team at Newport Academy. I look forward to utilizing my clinical skills with individuals, families, and clinicians to make sure they find the most appropriate facility and level of care. I gave a lot of thought to my next move and I decided on Newport Academy because of their superor clinical program and their commitment to treating the entire family."
