As you know, it's been a long road to completing our new campus construction, but we finally moved in today! The students and staff joined forces to move to our new property. There will still be a few kinks to work out as we try out all of our new equipment and set up, but we feel fortunate to have finally made the move. Thanks for all of your support during this process!
Our wish list is not complete, so if you would like to contribute any of the following enhancements for students on our new campus, let us know:
Chairs for dorm porches (lounge chairs or hanging hammock chairs for the common dorm porches)
Chairs for the club house (lounge chairs or bean-bag chairs for the club house living room &/or deck)
New pool table &/or ping pong table for the club house deck (or any other "leisure sports" equipment such as horseshoes, dart boards, etc.)
Large mounted flat-screen TV &/or projector for the student club house
2-3 basic laptops for student internet use (we have 3 but would like to have 5-6 to offer flexibility with internet time and Skype availability)
Any special kitchen equipment for the student kitchen (ex. new microwave, food processors, mixers, etc.)
New Summit AcademyCosta Rica is a therapeutic boarding school for males, ages 15-17 years old, entering grades 10-12. NSA students are interested in attending college yet struggle with motivation, decision making, and self-confidence or are struggling with family dynamics.
