New Opportunities
Tracy Bailey has joined New Lifestyles as the Director of Marketing and Referral Relations. Stationed in Maine with easy and ready access to the consultant corridor of the northeast, Tracy has already made an impact at New Lifestyles. Her weeks in Winchester have brought a fresh perspective, valuable insight shared by referral sources, and an appreciation for the work we do. Please contact her at tracybailey@newlifestyles.net to learn more or to schedule a tour or a site visit.

A Housewarming
We've opened a new, larger home for our young women. Recently remodeled, while preserving its lovely period features, this cozy home has an expansive garden and patio area for outside recreation. Located in the same residential neighborhood as our other houses, it is a block away from our historic main building, the Holly House and two blocks from the hub of the popular Old Town district of Winchester, VA.

Reaching Beyond
Most New Lifestyles students have struggled with relationships. While at New Lifestyles, they have become connected. They have made friends, enrolled in college, or worked and volunteered in our socially rich and culturally diverse small city of Winchester. They have worked with our expert team and clinicians to develop fundamental, functional living skills and have gained personal insight through rigorous clinical work. Reaching Beyond provides a smooth transition for alumni students to establish lasting relationships and set down roots in a familiar, real life community. Reaching Beyond students live independently (often with a roommate) in apartments in Winchester, building their skills, while gradually easing away from the structure of New Lifestyles. Advanced work during Reaching Beyond focuses on the knowledge and skills that are necessary to bridge the gap from emerging to young adulthood. Reaching Beyond's diminished tuition makes the potential for a 2 year stay at New Lifestyles a relative value when compared to other clinical options.

Introducing the New Lifestyles All Data Report
Presented quarterly, this report is based on an unprecedented degree of data collection, assessment, practical application and monitoring of independent living skills designed to meet the values, needs and desires of each student working towards independent living. The All Data Report provides objective feedback to the student and a vivid graphical report for parents, consultants, and other treating professionals. If you work with New Lifestyles student, you can expect to begin receiving these reports on a regular basis this spring.
