New Leaf Academy of North Carolina is pleased to announce Michelle McCoy as Director of Admissions. Michelle had previously worked at Four Circles Recovery Center as a Wilderness Field Guide. Michelle's experiences drive her enthusiasm and passion for the students, families, and professionals that work with New Leaf Academy.
New Leaf Academy of NC is a personal development boarding school for girls ages 10-14 who are in need of extra guidance and support in achieving their personal and academic potential. They offer a 14 to 18 month program that helps girls find new directions in a positive environment. Through a combination of top-level education and counseling, New Leaf students progress through three consecutive life steps which encourage an appreciation for and understanding of the value and rewards of hard work and follow through, while cultivating a strong sense of self-worth through accomplishment. The girls learn to develop a positive attitude, and to interact on a meaningful level with both peers and adults.
