New Leaf Academy of North Carolina is pleased to announce the following changes to our NLANC treatment team:

Robiyn Mims has been promoted from Program Manager to Director of Family Support Services. Rebecca Jefferies will assume the role of Administrative Director, while Molina Beerman has accepted the position of Lead Counselor.

Robiyn's new responsibilities will ensure the continued growth and development of our successful Family Services work. Robiyn's responsibilities will include the management, oversight, and facilitation of all family service, transition, and post-program work for New Leaf students and their families.

Rebecca's responsibilities will include the combined oversight and management of both the counseling and houseparenting teams.

Currently serving as a Moon Counselor, Molina's extensive history in the counseling and therapeutic field make her an excellent choice to help direct and lead the counseling team. Molina holds an M.A. in psychology from the University of Hamburg in Hamburg, Germany and is trained in the use of Hakomi for body-centered therapy. She has worked in several programs for struggling youth, as well as spent ten years working as a psychologist in her own practice. Her experience, knowledge, and caring spirit will serve as a resource and strength to the New Leaf staff.

The "whole child" approach of NLANC requires a strong team effort to meet the needs of our students and their families. We at New Leaf feel these changes further that goal and we are pleased that Robiyn, Becca and Molina are available and willing to embrace the next phase in the growth and development of our school.
