New Dawn Treatment Centers offers chemical dependency/ substance abuse and eating disorder treatment for both males and females, ages 13 and up, with specific programs for teens and adults. With the option for day/ outpatient therapy and residential treatment, New Dawn is a CARF Accredited program that promises lifetime continuing care for free to those who complete their 30 day enrollment.

Treatment is based on a continuum of care for successful recovery. A variety of diagnostic instruments and assessments conducted by our staff Psychologists and addiction specialists are utilized to answer the singular most important question for every individual seeking treatment: what treatment modalities will work best for this particular person? Modalities offered include traditional 12 step introduction, cognitive behavioral therapy, family systems therapy, psycho-education, individual therapy, as well as holistic offerings such as acupuncture, tai-chi, yoga, Life Coaching, nondenominational spirituality, equine-assisted therapy, and recreational therapies. Individualized and person-centered treatment planning is ongoing throughout the course of one’s stay to identify and encourage the combination of modalities that are having the most positive impact for each participant.

Executive Director of New Dawn Recovery Center, Lora Larsen, CADC II, and has been with New Dawn since 2002. Steve Carver, LAADC-NR, CADC II, MATC, CSC started his career with New Dawn in 2001 and is now the Program Director. Steve Skiadas, MAC, CCJS, FACT is the Clinical Coordinator and Teen Outpatient/Adolescent Director is Abby Lockett, PLPC, MO, RASAC II, RAS.
