In an effort to increase positive public awareness of NATSAP programs, Heritage Schools is hosting Ride for Teens this August 23rd. Participants of Ride for Teens pledge support to quality at-risk youth services by riding their bike up Provo Canyon. There are short distance and long distance courses designed for all types of cyclists. Any bike that has two wheels and requires pedaling is welcome to join.
Proceeds of Ride for Teens are used to cover the expense of the event, assist in the costs associated with press releases and media attention, with the remaining funds being donated to Heritage Center Stage. Ride for Teens is not affiliated directly with Heritage Schools, but is a group of at-risk youth advocates working in conjunction with NATSAP to support safe treatment of at-risk youth. Ride for Teens thanks Heritage Schools for hosting this event for the year 2008 and welcomes all surrounding NATSAP programs to join in this pedal pledge.
