The new school and administration building at Mountain Springs is nearing completion. The exterior rock is ordered and will be up shortly. The interior is completely painted and the flooring will be going in soon. The crew has started grading the land around the building so that the landscaping can be put in and the asphalt for the parking lot be poured. The students and staff at Mountain Springs are anxiously anticipating the day that we will be able to move into the new building. Only a couple more months!
This new school building will allow Mountain Springs to broaden the academic experience for our students. It will include the addition of an Art classroom with a pottery kiln, a Science classroom with a full lab, and a Music room. Our building will also include, among other things, a commercial kitchen and large dining hall as well as a state of the art computer lab.
Mountain Springs is designed as a practice environment where students have greater access to community involvement (through University classes, employment/volunteering, and other extracurricular activities) and more opportunity to make choices. Mountain Springs is a proud member of the CERTS programs.

Mountain Springs Preparatory Academy is a co-ed, step-down boarding school for adolescents ages 14-18. We specialize in helping student's step-down from a higher level of care (residential treatment or wilderness).
