Welcomes New Therapist

Matthew Call joins Mount Pleasant Academy's Clinical Team as an Associate Marriage and Family Therapist. An alumni of Brigham Young University in Provo, Matthew resides in Manti, Utah.

Matthew brings with him a diverse skill set obtained from a wide range of experience. He has previously held positions as a research assistant, teacher, and program therapist for multiple adolescent residential treatment centers.

His experience working with adolescent boys in residential settings gives Matthew a solid foundation for processing the kinds of attachment issues and trauma that Mount Pleasant students are faced with.

Matthew is a member of the American Association of Marriage and Family Therapists as well as the Society for the Study of Emerging Adulthood.

Mount Pleasant Academy is a non-profit Treatment Center designed to assist adolescents and families who may be struggling with compulsive sexual behaviors, sensitive sexual issues, and/or digital addictions. It is a 16 bed facility for males ranging from ages 12 - 18 years.
