We are thrilled to announce that David Hayes has joined our Board of Directors. With his experience in finance and management, active support of the local community, and commitment to advancing Montford Hall's mission, David is an invaluable asset to our organization.

David began his career in commercial banking in 1985, after graduating from Appalachian State University with a B.S. in Business Administration. Since 2003, he has been a Senior Vice President and City Executive for BB&T in Asheville, helping to grow area businesses by providing capital, treasury management, benefits, risk management, and private banking services.

An Asheville native, David is an engaged member and strong supporter of his hometown community. He has served on the boards of Mountain Bizworks, Leadership Asheville Forum, and Mountain Area Child and Family Center, and on the Total Resources Campaign Committee for the Asheville Chamber of Commerce. He was 2001-2002 president of Asheville Rotary and has been a Paul Harris Fellow since 2004. David also regularly participates in service projects through Rotary, Manna Food Bank, United Way, and the BB&T Lighthouse Project.
