We are really excited to share with you that Monarch Transitions is NOW Open!

Monarch School families have been requesting for quite some time additional support after their graduate leaves Monarch School, a transition home.

Now that Monarch Transitions is open, it's a great option for graduates from Monarch School, other programs, or young-adults transitioning from home to college or to live independently. We provide a structured environment for young-adults to practice the skills they have learned in a larger community.

Monarch Transitions home is safe and conveniently located near shopping and social scenes while providing good access to outdoor activities. Participants may walk or use a bike to reach supermarkets, cafés, restaurants, etc.

Participants live in a Monarch Transitions home for at least three months before moving into one of our independent living programs. This allows time for the participants to settle into their new life and show they have the required skills to live independently.

Students, who need a semester or two to complete their high school education, may continue with their high school education through accredited national distant learning organizations. They may also attend any online or local colleges and universities.

With daily guidance and support from Monarch Transitions, participants are taught to problem-solve, strategize, work through their issues and, ultimately, live independently.

We already have several inquiries with six beds to fill for young-men, with our first young-man enrolling January 2nd. And, we anticipate a young-ladies home soon in the new year.

Please call us at Monarch School campus to learn more about Monarch Transitions. Thank you!

Respectfully,

Michelle and Patrick McKenna
Monarch School and Monarch Transitions

Monarch Transitions provides support and guidance for young adults ages 17-22, graduating from high school or a prior placement, helping them make the transition into independent living.
