We are very pleased to announce the addition of two new Academic Directors. Kyle Reardon and Marcia Perry!
Kyle Reardon received a Bachelor's Degree in Music Education from Johnson State College and promptly began what has become a career dedicated to enhancing opportunities for individuals with disabilities to lead fulfilling and productive lives. Kyle has worked in a variety of settings including direct behavior support for students with autism spectrum disorders, coordinator of a customized employment program for adults with developmental disabilities, and as a public school special education teacher for high school students with various disabilities. Kyle returned to Johnson State to receive his Master's Degree in Special Education.
Marcia Perry comes to Mansfield Hall with more than twenty five years of experience working in educational communities. Marcia holds a BS from Norwich University, she studied Communication Science and Disorders for a year and a half at the University of Vermont, and, after becoming a licensed teacher in the state of Vermont, she also trained as a Waldorf Teacher at Sunbridge College in Spring Valley, New York. During her tenure at several Public and Private Schools in Vermont and New Jersey, Marcia also directed an academic summer school for two years, and a wilderness camp for eight years. For ten years, Marcia worked at the Pine Ridge School in Williston, Vermont, where she developed and implemented curricula in various content areas for students with language and social communication disorders.
We are thrilled to have Kyle and Marica join us!
