The story of Mansfield Hall has been written one student, one college class, one new friend, and one successful transition at a time, over many years. What started as a vision for helping college-capable students make a successful transition from home and high school to college and independence eventually evolved into 16 students in a rented Victorian home in Burlington, VT.

Since that very first year we have been continuously amazed and honored by your support and participation, which is actively helping to write this exciting story, and which has led us to where we are today: two amazing cities (Burlington, VT and Madison, WI) and serving over 100 students in the 2018/19 school year (including residential students and Connections students in both locations).

The success we have experienced is the direct result of your support, your participation, your insights, and your suggestions. One of the questions we have been hearing for years is "What does it take to get a Mansfield Hall closer to (fill in your home town)!?"

There are a lot of things that make Mansfield Hall work for students, but we certainly feel as though a large part of what makes Mansfield Hall students so successful is the carefully cultivated and curated relationship between our location in the town, our partnerships with and the accessibility to the right mix of colleges and universities, and our student's access to an authentic college experience. Finding a fun and safe college town, with a variety of schools where our students can thrive, in a place that is both accepting and safely navigated by students, but also large enough to have a variety of options for student life and also accessible to a variety of families... well, it's not as easy as you might think!

We are incredibly fortunate to already be in Madison and Burlington, and after years of research and beating the streets in college towns all across the US, we are thrilled to announce the opening of Mansfield Hall-Eugene in the summer and fall of the 2020/21 school year.

19/20 Early Action Offers Will Start To Go Out On October 1st

It is true - we are pretty excited about Eugene and 2020 - but we are also really excited about building the cohorts in Burlington, VT, and Madison, WI, for the 2019/20 school year. For students and families who are already through the entire admissions process, and are looking for certainty in their 2019/20 college planning, we will begin to send Early Action offers to students on Oct. 1st.

While Early Action is a great way to lock in a guaranteed space (yet again, we opened the fall term full in both Burlington and Madison), there is certainly still plenty of time to start the conversation for 2019/20 - but do not wait!

While it is never too late to call, it is also true that spaces do fill up!
