Carter Interim Admissions
At Logan River

It is with mixed emotions that I announce the resignation of Ms. Margaret Oak, LMFT, as the Admissions Director here at Logan River Academy. I am very excited for her upcoming opportunities as she moves into the world of educational consulting, but I am also very sorry to lose her here at our program.

Margaret has been with us for over eight years, serving first as a therapist and then for the past two and a half years as our Admissions Director. She has done a great job in getting to know each of you and working to assist us as a program to better serve your needs and doing that with real clinical professionalism.

She will be joining an existing educational consulting group in Texas and will be doing so immediately. We will begin our search for a replacement and certainly would solicit your recommendations if you know of any candidates. In the meantime, I will step into the admission role so we may move forward seamlessly.

Logan River Academy provides educational and therapeutic programming for a broad range of students by individualizing treatment plans and programming. Logan River Academy serves co-ed students ages 13-17 who are having difficulties in home, community and school due to behavioral and emotional problems. The program emphasizes "a balance between a structured residential environment, therapy, and education."
