Life Designs is proud to announce that Jonathan Gross is now our new Admissions and Marketing Director. Bobby Brown (not the R&B singer) has taken over Jonathan's duties as house manager and recovery specialist at the transitional house in Spokane Washington.

The transitional living phase of Life Designs will be celebrating its fifth year of operation and Life Designs will be celebrating its fifteenth year. Life Designs and the transition house (The Kedlin House) located on Kedlin Court in Spokane WA, is committed to helping young adults overcome their negative beliefs with a life design filled with inspiration, purpose, passion and recovery.

Who do we serve? We work with 18 to 30 year old young adults that are struggling with staying sober. Many of our clients come to us from larger, more urban programs, as well as wilderness programs and other shorter primary treatment programs.

Life Designs offers a small family rural setting with the right amount of inclusion. We are centrally located between Sandpoint, ID and Spokane, WA to provide our clients with the support they need to develop a strong foundation in recovery.

Seventy-five percent of our staff are in recovery and have been sober for more than five years. Our staff provides our clients with dynamic examples of how to live a life of active recovery. The staff at Life Designs have many talents and attributes that benefit our clients experience, including professional artist, musicians, ex-pro snowboarder, independent film producer, actors, skateboard riders/promoter, public school teacher, inventor, back country snowmobiler, mountain bikers, graphic designer, Reiki master, and a Chemical Dependency Counselor, International Travel Guide, Family and Marriage Therapist (Kim Mlinarik, nine years and counting) as well as recovered addicts.

Our new 12-month rate of $5,417 per month includes 2, 6-month phases, in 2 separate facilities and locations. Life Designs is one of the most affordable proven options in the country for preparing young adults for successful living.

At Life Designs, we flat out show clients how to live clean and passionate lives. We include many experiences such as wake boarding, skiing, rock climbing, whitewater rafting, camping, kayaking, fishing, snowmobiling, yoga, swimming, fitness training, trail running, mountain bike riding, gardening, culinary classes, welding, wood working, service work and the list goes on.
