In February 2007, I became the President of the National Association of Therapeutic Schools and Programs. John Santa, previous President, had generously agreed to serve an additional year in order for me to transition my Three Springs day to day duties to various members of our Executive management Team Members.
In recent days, I have requested and have been granted a flexible schedule that will allow me to focus more time on NATSAP, to become more available to Jan Moss, our Executive Director, as well as work with our Board of Director's to meet the goals that we have set. In order to fulfill my responsibilities as NATSAP's President, I will not concurrently maintain my duties as COO of Three Springs. I will continue my work on some Three Springs special assignment between my NATSAP duties and personal time off. I am very confident in our Three Springs team and know that this transition will not interrupt our services.
This schedule also allows me to spend more time with my family as well as enjoying other activities that time has just not allowed me to pursue.
I am grateful to Three Springs to be allowed time to work more closely with NATSAP as well as being able to enjoy a more flexible work schedule.
Respectfully submitted,
Sharon Laney, MS
