Kroka Expeditions, situated on a 75-acre farm, offers students of all ages a variety of expeditions, summer camps and semester programs. Students with AD/HD benefit from the hands on learning of academics taught in direct correlation to practical living skills.

Misha Golfman, Founding Director, developed the concept and curriculum for Kroka Expeditions as the theme of his Master's project in 1996. Lynne Boudreau, M.Ed., Co-Founder, was a Special Education Teacher and a Waldorf teacher. Lisl Hofer, M Ed, is Director of the Semester Programs. Instructors at Kroka are all lifeguard certified, climbing instructors are certified through the American Mountain Guide Association and are CPR certified and Wilderness First Responders.

Kroka offers two different Semester expeditions, the New Hampshire to Vermont expedition and the New Hampshire to Ecuador expedition. Kroka Expeditions strives to meet each student at his/her level of ability and support him/her in furthering growth in each subject. Teachers attempt to discover and develop capacities in each individual student while strengthening a healthy development of the will, a feeling for all living beings and confidence to meet a complex world with understanding. Students receive academic credits in English, Natural History, Social Studies, Crafts, Performing Arts, Physical Education, Life Education and Community Service. Those in the Ecuador Semester also receive credit in Foreign Language.
