Insight Intensive at Gold Lake, a therapeutic residential program for young men ages 18-26, is pleased to announce a partnership with Phoenix Multisport, a Boulder based nonprofit organization. Through such pursuits as climbing, biking, hiking, running, swimming, road and mountain biking, and other activities, Phoenix Multisport helps build a physically active community of individuals who are interested and motivated by a lifestyle free from drugs and alcohol.
"We are very excited to work with Phoenix Multisport's seasoned and accomplished team of young instructors," said Joseph DeNucci, Founder of Insight Intensive at Gold Lake. "This is a great opportunity to introduce our participants to a community of people who are committed to helping young men make positive changes and developing healthy growth oriented lifestyles."
In collaboration with Insight Intensive's program staff, Phoenix Multisport will facilitate half, full, and multiday excursions that will incorporate outdoor activities, rites of passage and solo experiences for the Insight Intensive participants. Our goal is to help young men discover their strengths and develop and maintain the emotional strength they need to live a healthy, balanced life.
Insight Intensive at Gold Lake is an innovative, therapeutic residential program that serves young men, ages 18-26, in need of clinical services, mentoring, coaching and life skills. Created in response to the growing "failure to launch" epidemic, Insight Intensive prepares young men for college or work and independence using a comprehensive, integrated approach that supports the whole person's development, and includes a personalized, goal-oriented program of therapeutic mentoring; individual, group and family therapy; peer support; health and wellness; recovery support; life-skills training and academic or vocational preparation.
