Inner Harbour will be offering new brain-based services for troubled youth ages 6-17 with significant developmental challenges, neurological and cognitive issues, or neurodevelopmental disorders such as: Autism Spectrum Disorders, Neurological/Genetic Disorders, Learning Disabilities and Traumatic Brain Injury.
Neuropsychiatric services are painless, non-invasive procedures that teach youth to strengthen and retrain their brain, producing new, healthier patterns to replace old, unstable neurological patterns.
Results of Treatment May Include:
- Improved social skills
- Reduction or elimination of medication
- Improved learning and listening skills
- Improved behavior
- Improved ability to follow through on tasks
- Improved communication skills
- Improved achievement scores, IQ and school performance
- Enhanced self-esteem
