International Wilderness Leadership School (IWLS) Expedition Therapy is pleased to welcome Beth J. Fogel to the clinical team as Primary Therapist.
Beth, a licensed therapist with over 15 years of clinical experience, has been actively working with adults in wilderness for the past 7 years. She specializes in working with adults who present with LD, NLD, Social Anxiety and Isolation, Sexual Identity Issues, Anger, Grief and Loss, Computer Addiction, and Substance Abuse. Beth's therapeutic approach focuses upon Family Systems. "IWLS Expedition Therapy is a goal-oriented, solution-focused approach to therapy combined with a curriculum that promotes self-discovery, fosters each individual's strengths, and develops a sense of community," stated Beth. "Unlike most traditional approaches, our IWLS Expedition Therapy Instructors are highly skilled guides who have extensive therapeutic training and experience in wilderness. They provide the hands-on, highly effective experiential learning opportunities that are a unique hallmark of every IWLS program. "
Beth recently presented at the International Conference of the Association for Experiential Education. She is a major contributor to research, development and writing much of the Self Awareness and Group Dynamics therapeutic curriculum contained within the IWLS Expedition Therapy experience. She can be reached at our Kanab Office 435- 644-8878 or by email at beth@expeditiontherapy.com .
