IECA Calls for Presentation Proposals for Fall Conference

Dear Colleagues,

Even as we are just about to open registration for our Spring Conference, we invite you to be part of the IECA 2015 Fall program. We hope you'll consider presenting late this year, November 4 - 7, 2015, in Scottsdale, Arizona.

This is an opportunity to share and contribute your expertise with your colleagues and influence the growing IEC community that helps our families and students succeed.

Submit your educational session ideas no later than June 1 to participate in the largest conference for the Independent Educational Consultant community.

Presentation Topics

We look for a wide range of session topics that will be valuable to various groups of attendees, including:

• Current issues in admissions.


• Consulting, counseling, and admission staff skills.


• Topics related to adolescent issues: learning, emotional and behavioral difficulties.


• Independent Educational Consultant business and professional information.


• Knowledge-based topics for those working in school, college, and therapeutic environments.


• Sessions that enhance knowledge and understanding of admission, marketing, and business solutions.


• Sessions that are offered at a wide range of knowledge and skill levels.

IECA will give priority to sessions using presenters from more than one institution or program, as diverse points of view are preferred. This includes sessions that feature presenters from multiple schools, or feature an IEC along with an admission representative or service.

Sessions for IECA's upcoming Spring Conference in Baltimore will be posted by mid-February, and may provide you with a sense of accepted sessions.
