Dear Members,

Last month we welcomed our new Office Administrator, LeAnnette Bailey, and this month, we're equally delighted to introduce you to another new IECA professional staff member! Amanda Fogler is our new full-time Membership Associate, and she will be your contact if you wish to inquire about any of our member services or benefits, move from one category of membership to another, or if you have a membership application pending. She will be working with Janice Berger, our Manager of Member Services, to coordinate all tours as well.

Amanda's professional background includes sales and hospitality management, administration, and marketing. Originally from Washington State, Amanda graduated from the University of Hawai'i at Hilo in Linguistics and Japanese Studies. She loved living and learning in Hawai'i, working at the campus library and radio station, riding her bike all over the Big Island, and making friends from around the world. In her spare time, she enjoys reading science fiction and philosophy, exploring the disc-golf courses of Virginia, and hosting Pub Trivia. "It is very important to me to work for an organization with authenticity and a positive social impact," says Amanda. "Now I am very excited to bring my high standards of service to the IECA team and its valued members."

Amanda can be reached at 703-591-4850 ext. 6974 or at Amanda@IECAonline.com

As we welcome Amanda to IECA, we are also sad to be saying bon voyage to Laura Simmons Tellez as she leaves the IECA staff to open up a new security business with her husband. Most of you have had the pleasure of meeting Laura over the last few years at one of our conferences, or in our exhibit booth at NACAC, and you've probably spoken to her on the phone as well. She has served the membership with great professionalism and enthusiasm, and we thank her for all that she's contributed to IECA. Please join us in wishing Laura great success in this exciting new chapter of her life. She promises to keep us posted on how she's doing, and we plan to hold her to that.

Best wishes,
Sue
