Blueprint Education, a nonprofit educational organization, has welcomed a new Principal, Mr. Ric Rodriguez, at Hope High School in Phoenix, AZ. On a related topic, Hope High School has found a new home and will be opening a brand new school facility for the upcoming 2009-2010 school year.

"The recent leadership change and the relocation of the high school are key steps to enable Hope High School to uniquely offer flexible, self-paced instruction for career oriented students in the southwest valley of Phoenix," said Mark French, President of Blueprint. "It is an accomplishment to be in a new building where students and staff come together in designing their school to reflect a school personality for a smaller learning community. It is also thrilling to be in the heart of a vibrant, growing community where our school can have a positive impact and become a vital part of the neighborhood."

"Mr. Rodriguez was the right choice for this position and I'm not alone when I say that I'm incredibly excited for the upcoming school year," stated Dr. Beth Collins, Superintendent of Blueprint. "He has a real connection with students, parents, and faculty and is committed to their success, not only in the classroom but well beyond graduation."

Mr. Rodriguez holds a Master's Degree in Educational Administration and Supervision, a dual Bachelor's degree in Elementary Education and Special Education and an Associate of Arts degree in Business with an emphasis on Marketing and Distribution. Prior to that, Mr. Rodriquez was in law enforcement in Douglas, Arizona.

"Mr. Rodriguez brings great energy and a philosophy of positive adult relationships which foster an atmosphere where students and adults collaborate toward a common goal," commented Mark French.

Blueprint Education currently operates 3 charter high schools in Arizona, provides alternative education programs for elementary school districts in Maricopa County, offers services in curriculum development, and provides complete high school distance learning courses and diplomas. Blueprint Education is celebrating 40 years of student success since being incorporated in 1969.
