Hawaii Schools Raise Money

Habilitat, a nationally recognized substance abuse program, is partnering with a local Christmas tree distributor will sell trees to raise funds for schools in Hawaii.

This year Habilitat will be putting on their 37th Annual Christmas fundraiser to raise money for tuition and operating expenses at their Kaneohe facility. In addition to selling trees themselves, for over fifteen years now Habilitat has been offering an opportunity for schools, athletic groups, etc. to generate funds by selling trees to parents, families and friends. In the past two years alone Habilitat helped schools and other groups in Hawaii raise over $100,000 for their keiki. Due to the success of this project, Habilitat will be undertaking a new fundraising venture in 2012. They will be offering custom Hawaiian wood crafts at wholesale prices to once again help these groups raise money.

Habilitat is a long-term residential substance abuse treatment center for adults 18 and over that are struggling with addictions to drugs and alcohol.
