Greenwich Education Group Sells
Its Interest In Lake House Academy

Greenwich Education Group owners, Vicky and Peter Newman have reached an agreement with Catherine "Cat" Jennings, executive director of Lake House Academy, to sell their interest in the academy to Jennings for an undisclosed sum.

Greenwich Education Group teamed with Jennings to form Lake House Academy in June 2010 to help provide continuity of services to families that were being displaced by CRC Health Group's decision to close the New Leaf Academy of North Carolina. Cat Jennings, New Leaf's outgoing director at the time, approached Greenwich Education Group for financial and logistical support to help her establish Lake House Academy. Greenwich Education Group made an open-ended commitment to Jennings to provide support for as long as needed. Recently the Newman's and Jennings concluded that Lake House Academy is well established and can now operate without the continued support of Greenwich Education Group.

Greenwich Education Group provides primary, supplementary and specialized learning services as well as educational consulting and individualized college prep courses to K through 12 students and their families.
