I am pleased to announce the next evolutionary step in Greenbrier Academy's progression. John Grago has accepted the role of Executive Director. He has been working with me for fifteen years in various roles including therapist, program director, and admissions director. He knows the industry well, and he understands the needs of Educational Consultants. Our enrollment relies principally on EC referrals, and John has coordinated that for years. I particularly appreciate his training of our therapists for how to best accommodate and communicate with Consultants. He is one of the most honest, empathic, and skilled persons I have ever worked with. He exemplifies the values and culture of GBA.

Mark Dennison has graciously stepped aside. He desires to pursue the development of his own boy's school/program. He has obtained and will be renovating a facility in Alabama for this endeavor. This is not a joint venture with GBA. Mark has a long history in private and public education. We appreciate his efforts in obtaining various accreditations and licensing for GBA. He has helped increase the quality of our college prep curriculum which we will maintain. We wish him well.

I invite you to share our optimism and excitement for the next growth step in GBA's evolution. Allow me to share a part of my vision for John. Executive Directors have various strengths and roles as you know. Some are excellent managers requiring compliance within the organization. That is essential. Some are leaders that connect people together with each other and with ideas. John is a "Connector". As we continue to implement our model, Applied Relationality, I see John uniquely skilled at bringing people together. That includes staff, students, and you. Please feel free to congratulate John and join us in giving him our trust and support.

Thank you for trusting us with the families you work with. We want to serve you better and better.

Please contact me for whatever you need or wish to convey.

My best wishes,
L Jay Mitchell
President and Founder
