Schwenkler Receives
New Certification

Greenbrier Academy is pleased to announce that Ron Schwenkler, Clinical Director for the academy, has received certification as a Phase 1 Brainspotting Trainer.

Brainspotting is a powerful, focused treatment method that works by identifying, processing and releasing core neurophysiologic sources of emotional/body pain, trauma, dissociation and a variety of challenging symptoms.

Ron Schwenkler has been working with adolescents for almost two decades in various roles at wilderness programs, group homes, and private practice and at Greenbrier Academy. He also holds certifications and licensures as a Licensed Professional Counselor, Approved Licensed Professional Supervisor, Licensed Clinical Professional Counselor, Distance Credentialed Counselor and Grief Recovery Specialist.

We want to congratulate Ron on this accomplishment and are excited about this enhancement of services our clinical team has to offer our staff and students.
