As you know from previous correspondence, two of GRA's most distinguished educators will be retiring from their respective classrooms this May. Today, I am pleased to share with you our plans to recognize Mr. Larry Wilson for his lifelong career of 41 years at GRA and Mr. Jed Trombley for his commitment of 21 years to our school.

We invite you to join the GRA community in celebrating Mr. Wilson and Mr. Trombley on Saturday, May 24th during Graduation 2014. Beginning at 11:00am on the steps of Shepard Hall, Mr. Wilson will be serving as our Keynote Speaker, while Mr. Trombley will be presenting the 2nd Annual Alumni Take a Stand. A celebratory luncheon will immediately follow in Armington Hall, while a special alumni gathering is scheduled from from 1:30pm-3:30pm at Laurello Vineyards, graciously hosted by Dr. John DeCato '80 and family.

Additionally, we are recognizing these thoughtful educators with a distinct aspect on the campus where they have spent so many years of their lives. A new faculty housing unit will be constructed, meaningfully named for Mr. Wilson and his wife Barbara, also a GRA faculty member, for their 66 years of combined service to the Academy. Adjacent to The Wilson Family House, we will be cultivating Trombley Gardens.

The GRA family resides around the globe and whether you can join us in person, or in thought, to celebrate Mr. Wilson and Mr. Trombley, we welcome you! There are several ways to be involved - whether sending along a special greeting or memory, sending an honorary contribution for The Wilson Family House and Trombley Gardens, or attending our celebration on May 24th.

This spring is truly a special time in GRA's history. I encourage you to join us in celebrating Mr. & Mrs. Larry Wilson, Mr. Jed Trombley and their impactful careers.
