Honors Exceptional Faculty

The Glenholme School, a special needs boarding and day school for students with social, emotional and learning challenges, values the essential contributions of its faculty members as central to the success of students. Mr. Thomas Donovan, a long term Devereux Board of Trustee member expressed his passionate feelings about the qualities that set Devereux apart, "A culture of caring makes everything effective, paired with outstanding treatment services makes us unique and results oriented." In 2002, the Board of Trustees established the Thomas Donovan Culture of Caring Award, to be awarded annually to one member of each Devereux program. The Glenholme School, the Connecticut center of Devereux Advanced Behavioral Health, has the esteemed pleasure to name Matt Clady as the school's 2017 Thomas Donovan Culture of Caring Award recipient.



The school community gathered on Thursday, November 29, to formerly award Mr. Clady the Devereux Thomas Donovan Culture of Caring Aware for his extraordinary contributions and who embodies the qualities espoused by Mr. Donovan. Glenholme Boarding Director Seth Greenlees and Glenholme Assistant Executive Director Judy Cooper recounted Mr. Clady's qualities.

Mr. Clady joined Glenholme's faculty in August of 2011 and in his role, he consistently strives to deliver quality instruction, while maintaining the highest level of care to students. Mr. Clady also manages the athletics program, as well as furthering his duties as a part-time supervisor. Mr. Clady's impressive flexibility, openness to learning, and commitment to the Glenholme mission, are just a few examples of the exceptional attributes which earned him this award.
