The Glenholme School believes the dedication and compassion of staff are central to the success of all students. In a longstanding tradition, the school recognizes one meritorious supervisor annually who demonstrates a steadfast commitment to the mission of the school, as well as conveys a high standard of integrity and ethics while nurturing professional and individual growth of his or her staff. For 2017, Glenholme is privileged to distinguish Anna Kallman with the Devereux Supervisory Excellence Award.
Ms. Kallman was recognized for her conscientiousness to the school during the Parents' Weekend Celebration and Benefit before a gathering of parents and fellow faculty in early May. Glenholme Executive Director Maryann Campbell detailed the commendations Ms. Kallman received.
Since joining Glenholme School in the spring of 2015, Anna Kallman provides supervision and oversight of the clinical department. Anna's matchless commitment to excellence is evident in her tremendous flexibility, outstanding leadership, exceptional follow-through and extensiveness in skill development plans. All of this makes an extraordinary difference in her team and their performance.
Additionally, Anna has developed new initiatives to address student treatment particularly in the areas of anxiety and trauma-related care while taking a lead role in the equestrian-assisted therapy program. Most recently, Anna worked with students on role playing scenarios for an on-campus parent training seminar. Parents, students and faculty resonated with Anna Kallman's how-to approach using Glenholme's positive-based behavioral model.
It is these notable qualities and many more, which make Ms. Kallman the most deserving recipient of this honor. Congratulations!
