Glen Willow Academy Announces
Bryan Tomes As Academic Director

We are very excited to have Bryan's years of experience added to our team. Bryan has been designing and implementing educational environments for this specific population of young girls for over 7 years, really understands the unique challenge they present.

We have to meet the needs of our students as they come to us, often at the various levels of disengagement in the class room, by crafting an academic setting that looks and feels traditional but has the necessary supports to get the students back on task.

Students need to continue to build self-confidence with real-world expectations in a classroom as, the good news, our students move on to traditional day and boarding schools. Therefore their ability to perform at or above grade level is imperative.

Bryan brings depth to our new school with his ability to blend academics into the overall experience for the students. Scholastic success is crucial to their growth in program and success post-graduation.

Bryan is also well versed in working with school systems, managing IEP's, assisting families with their academic needs at transition, and building positive, ongoing relationships with the schools our students attend, which is so important for the long term needs of our students.
