Greetings Colleagues,

I am excited to announce a new residential program to provide innovative treatment for young girls in the Asheville area. Glen Willow Academy, a new therapeutic boarding school designed specifically for girls, age 10 to 14 and families struggling with family, social and emotional challenges will open in Weaverville, NC on October 1st.

Glen Willow Academy is a privately owned program that provides a distinct combination of comprehensive treatment, academics and social activities designed to address our students developmental needs.

The program is located on the 25-acre campus and provides a home-like setting for students with amenities that include swimming pool, tennis court, pond, playing and soccer fields, horses and barn, walking trails and a certified school.

Our goal is to provide age appropriate treatment for young girls, educate and support families and return to their communities and traditional educational settings

Length of stay is only one component of a successful program; families must also have access to comprehensive assessment, intervention, treatment, and support services that are developmentally, culturally and gender-appropriate.

The Glen Willow Academy is a cohesive team with decades of experience working with this population and creating safe, caring relationships designed to strengthen family bonds during treatment to support long-term and sustainable results.

Please follow the link for a quick glance into Glen Willow Academy, we will have our full website up in the next week, there is a place to submit your request to receive updates about the school prior to opening if you wish.

Best wishes,
Cat Jennings
Executive Director
