Open Letter from
CEO/President of
Gatehouse Academy

As an overwhelming response to the character letter reference request I sent recently, I want to clear up a few items. I am not leaving Gatehouse Academy. The reason for my letter is simple. There are opportunities in our Global community to make a significant impact on legislation, governing bodies, organizations and the government as it relates to substance abuse and the laws around substance abuse and its effects. Organizations like the Substance Abuse and Mental Health Services Administration, the National Institute on Drug Abuse, the National Association of Addiction Treatment Providers and others are working on changing prevailing laws or practices.

With these letters, it provides me a level of credibility in the eyes of decision makers leading our government or the organizations listed above and many others not listed.

Again, to put all at ease I am not leaving Gatehouse Academy. I simply am looking for support as I begin to move into a larger arena in making a difference in a world that is so deeply wounded by the throes of addiction.

I appreciate your concerns, well wishes and most specifically your letters of support.
