InnerChange is pleased to announce that Eilean MacKenzie, LCPC, has joined the Fulshear Ranch Academy executive team as its new Clinical Director. Eilean joins Kathleen Donovan, LICSW, and Fulshear's Executive Director.

Eilean Mackenzie, LCPC, has over twenty-five years of clinical experience in private practice, family counseling and program leadership. Most recently, and for over seven years, Eilean served as the Clinical Director for New Horizons Young Women, a therapeutic outdoor program for at risk girls. Eilean's education includes an M.A. in Counseling Psychology, an M.A. in Sociology and she was a Clinical Fellow at Harvard Medical School.

Fulshear Ranch Academy, located in Needville, TX, is a young adult treatment and transition program for women ages 18 through 24 experiencing emotional and behavioral issues that could prevent a safe transition to independence. Common issues treated at Fulshear include dual diagnosis, personality disorders; bi-polar, post traumatic stress disorder (PTSD), addiction, severe depression and anxiety, and poor body image. Many of the young women at Fulshear have histories of multiple failed placements, and for these families, Fulshear provides the tools needed for lasting independence. Our three phase program allows girls to learn, grow, and thrive in an environment of intensive and clinically sophisticated treatment, health and wellness education, equine therapy, academics, and experiential life-skills training. Our goal is to support and empower young women towards healthy independence.
