Welcomes Shannon Higgins To
Their Admissions Team

Fulshear Ranch Academy, a treatment and transition program for young women is pleased to welcome Shannon Higgins to the admissions team. A ten-year veteran of the youth treatment industry, Shannon comes to Fulshear with extensive background in wilderness and residential programs. She began in 2001 working first as wilderness field staff and later as Graduation Coordinator. In 2003, Shannon joined the direct care staff at an RTC and quickly moved into a supervisory role. In 2007, she joined the admissions team and in 2009 she was promoted to Admissions Director, where she found her true calling!

One of her colleagues revealed Shannon's character when he said, "To know Shannon is to immediately be taken by her positivity, energy, and genuine enthusiasm - which are contagious to everyone she works with, including clients."

She loves working with clients and their parents to help them change their lives for the better. Her passion and dedication are reflected in her work ethic and her compassion for families.

"I have a daughter," Shannon says. "I feel for parents of these young women who are struggling to make wise choices. I know that by acquiring some skills and embracing what is best for them, they can maximize their opportunities. Fulshear offers them tangible solutions to help them be what they can be."

Fulshear Ranch Academy is a treatment and transition program for young women, ages 18 - 24, who need support in their journey to adulthood. Fulshear offers a program of robust psychotherapy, experiential life-skills training, accredited college-prep and college academics, vocational training, and transition support. Fulshear is a partner in the InnerChange family of treatment programs for adolescents and young adults.
