Fulshear Launches New Website And Logo

Fulshear, a therapeutic program that prepares young women with emotional and behavioral challenges for independent adulthood, launched a new website and logo today. The new logo "is reflective of our evolution as a program," said Fulshear's executive director, Dr. Gayle Jensen-Savoie. "It better represents our comprehensive program of intensive treatment and immersive transition."

Treatment to Transition

The "treatment to transition" tagline is reflective of several years of program development, said Jensen-Savoie, the objective being to combine the best elements of a clinically strong treatment program with the best elements of an experiential transition program. This dual focus is designed to prepare young women with acute clinical profiles for a successful transition to healthy adult independence.

More than a Logo

"Our logo has a lot to say," said Fulshear admissions director, Irene Kotter. "It's a reminder to us of our core values and philosophy." The logo's visual elements represent Fulshear's emphasis on applied gender-based neuroscience, clinically validated treatment approaches, clients' accountability for their own life designs, and immersive transitional programming. It also symbolizes the program's commitment to producing women who are strong, rooted, and ready for independent-and interdependent-adulthood.

While Fulshear still provides its signature ranch-based equine therapy program, "we are so much more than that," said Kotter, "and the new logo represents that beautifully."

A Comprehensive Website for a Comprehensive Program

Fulshear's website (www.fulshearranchacademy.com) includes a thorough description of the program's treatment to transition approach. In addition to a more elegant design, the new website is addressed directly to young women who may be interested in the program. "We're preparing these women for healthy independence," said Kevin Randall, LMFT, Fulshear's clinical director, "so we think it's important to engage them respectfully and directly from the time they first view our website to the time they graduate."
