Fieldstone is proud to present the College Jump Start Program! This intriguing new opportunity allows high school students to complete college courses from an accredited University while in attendance. They will also have the privilege of staying in college apartments and participating in a true college life simulation-all without leaving our Fieldstone campus!
These college courses will be presented in distance learning format to our high school students while they are also working on their high school requirements. In a system similar to concurrent enrollment programs in public schools, our students will be able to leave Fieldstone with college credit. The college courses will come from fully accredited, large Universities in the state of Utah. Primarily, courses will come from Brigham Young University, recently ranked the most popular University in the nation.
The enrollment for this program will be capped at 30 students and prospective applicants will need to be referred by an educational consultant to be considered. Though students with academic problems are expected, serious emotional problems or severe drug addictions will not be eligible. The average class size is being kept between 5 and 7 students to allow for plenty of personal interaction with each student by their proven staff.
