Dr. Jill Mitchell will be providing a 3 hour course discussing law and ethics of couples and family therapy. When working with more than one client in the room, ethics and legal issues can become confusing. This workshop will describe how to provide therapy for couples and families and maintain best practices for all involved.

Dr. Mitchell has over 20 years experience in providing therapy to individuals, couples and families. Dr. Mitchell has also taught at various universities and colleges as well as served as president of IDAMFT.

Dr. Shawn Thurber, IDAMFT President-Elect, will also be joining Dr. Mitchell during the courses. Dr. Thurber's goal is to answer questions about and discuss the state of the association & to find out how to better meet the needs of the North Idaho Members. He will also be reporting on his recent trip to Washington DC for AAMFT training and legislative lobbying.
