Dear Referring Colleagues,
As many of you know, through the years, The Family Foundation School (FFS) has helped many families through its need based scholarship fund. I am excited to report that our Foundation has earmarked a new "merit" scholarship which will reduce our monthly tuition to $5,400 for families who are a particularly good fit for FFS based on their commitment to active involvement in specific programs we offer.
This scholarship reflects our school's mission and our development goals. In part it represents our commitment to families recovering from the inter-generational impact of alcoholism and drug addiction. Simultaneously, it is intended to support our award winning visual, musical and theatrical arts programs and the unique Dog Corp program. So, for the right student and family, we will provide this additional financial assistance.
The criteria for this special scholarship is any one or more of the following:
- Dog Corps: Student who has an affinity for dogs and wants to join our Dog Corp program (rescuing abandoned dogs, rehabilitating problem pet dogs and training/handling search and rescue dogs)
- Visual Arts: Student with demonstrated talent, personal focus and a goal to develop his or her artistic talent toward developing a portfolio for college
- Theater, Dance and Chorus: Student with demonstrated experience in the theater, dance or singing, wishing to further develop their talent and focus their time and attention in our theater, dance and chorus programs, with the goal of pursuing performing arts in college
- 12-Step Recovery: A family having been affected by substance abuse / chemical dependency and now have a demonstrated commitment to 12-step recovery.
There are a limited number of these scholarships, so please contact me to learn more or to discuss a possible referral.
Best regards,
Jeff
