Family Coaching And Consulting, Inc.

Family Coaching & Consulting, Inc. (FCCI) “empowers and inspires troubled teens, preteens, and their families to rediscover the family spirit.” They offer a wide range of programs that provide coaching, training, instruction guides, manuals, references and continuing support to help families meet the challenges they encounter. Dr. Ray Gwilliams, director of FCCI, has helped families with various needs. Some have teens who have completed a wilderness/therapeutic program and are having a hard time readjusting to their family or community. He also can coach an entire family who is having trouble working towards a common goal. He can also assist parents who are uncomfortable sending their child to a short-term or long-term program or simply can’t afford one.

Dr. Gwilliams has worked within a variety of emotional growth settings since1991, including Alldredge Academy, Heritage Academy, Benjamin Franklin Academy and Inward Flight Family Services. He is a clinician in Youth and Family counseling, has helped to develop academic, therapeutic and recreational programs, was a high school and middle school administrator, is a trained facilitator for Stephen Coveys, “7 Habits of Highly Effective People,” is a national award winner in collegiate forensic competition, an adjunct faculty member of George Wythe College, and is a motivational speaker for corporations, businesses and schools.

His focus is on the well being of the teens and families, never favoring any one approach or school of therapy to the exclusion of others. He makes house calls to visit with a family in their own environment for two or three days so that he can identify the patterns that inhibit unity and the nurturing of the family spirit.
