Equine Journeys Now Open

As you may know, Aspen Ranch was recently closed by its corporate owners and many of the staff, including the directors who were left with some hard choices after spending so many years in the adolescent treatment world. We had spent so much time and effort developing programs and programming which was specific to a rural area, especially equine assisted treatment services. So, rather than relocate and work for other programs, which may also be at risk of closing, we made the decision to start our own program, Equine Journeys, located in Loa, Utah which opened on August 15, 2011.

Over the years, many of you have come to know us individually and professionally and have either referred students to us or have visited with us as you toured the area. We now have the freedom and the ability to serve your individual needs better in a small program, owned by the people who work there.

Our program is designed based on our own years of expertise and skill as well as input from educational consultants. We are excited to provide services to our students and families without constraints.
