After Loretta and Barbi's unbelievable effort (Idaho Department of Health and Welfare Licensing) we are moving today back to Idaho! All 19 students will be back on our original campus tonight. We started the school in January of 1994 and are very excited about returning. ALL our students are looking forward to the change. All have seen it and many of their parents have as well. 17 of our 18 staff will be staying with us. All live in Idaho. My commute (and Loretta's) goes from 24 miles each way to a few feet! Our kids are grown and we are looking forward to having campus and home together again.

The students will appreciate sleeping in longer for the Attitude Adjustment AA meeting. Currently students wanting to attend have to be up and ready to go at 5:00 AM. All the evening meetings will be closer as will appointments for doctor, dentist, orthodontist, and optical appointments. The lake is closer as is Schweitzer for skiing. Airport runs will also be closer.

As you known having fun sober has been a primary focus at EMA. We already moved all the dirt bikes to Idaho as we have 5 1/2 miles of developed trails for riding. We have hill climbs for beginners and advanced riders. The boat always stayed in Idaho as we are just 12 miles from the launch. The property is 80 acres and connects to National Forest land on three sides. The hiking is unbelievable!

Personally I couldn't be happier about our move home. Over 20 years ago we bought this property with the intention to use it to help young men discovery a different way to live.I'm thrilled to be back. Now I get to move 19 teen age young men. I better get moving! Special thanks to all our staff for their efforts. Barbi and Loretta are due special kudos. I just move stuff, they dealt with ALL the red tape!

Please come visit us.

Take good care.

God Bless.

Carl
