Summer Academics & Adventure Camp
in Tennessee

Eckerd Academy at Deer Lodge, located in Deer Lodge, TN, will offer a seven-week Therapeutic Summer Camp emphasizing academic credit recovery and personal growth through outdoor adventures. The camp is ideally suited for boys ages 13 - 18 needing credit recovery in math, science or English, as well as guidance in developing better communication, problem solving and relationship building skills. Students will have the opportunity to earn one core academic credit and an additional Physical Education credit.

The seven-week session, June 13 - July 31, will feature a blend of academics and outdoor adventures to provide a unique summer experience. Youth will participate in white water rafting trips, hiking, horsemanship, and personal growth workshops in family dynamics, relational healing, anxiety and peer choices. Using group discussions, journaling and one-on-one discussions, students will have a great opportunity for self-discovery and growth.
