We hope the summer has been positively memorable. We hope you've conquered any challenges and experienced much joy.

Here at Echo Springs, we have adventured in the outdoors, feasted from our own garden, supported amazing life changes, and welcomed new students and faculty members.

We want to introduce you to Lucinda Kay; she joined us in July as our Admissions Advisor. Lisa Sutton served us well for the past eight years and we wish her well on her new journey with Expedition Therapy.

Lucinda has collaborated with us as our communications consultant since 2009, guiding us through message development, re-branding, and coaching. Lucinda says, "After hearing all the amazing stories all this time, I now get to speak directly to the families and consultants. It's been insightful and rewarding."

Lucinda earned her B.A. in Communications, her Certificate in Lay Ministry, and training as a Public Information Officer from FEMA (Federal Emergency Management Agency). She's a communications coach, a former TV News Anchor, helps lead a non-profit that benefits the Caribbean, and consults clients with their communications needs. "It's always about the story; whether I'm coaching a client to more effectively communicate, or seeking out just the right student for Echo Springs, it's always a powerful story."

We partnered with Lucinda because she has such a diverse skill set; the kind of woman who can maneuver bureaucracies in the developing world, hold an international press conference, or simply sit and listen. We appreciate her skills for sure, but she also lives our mission; she has long mentored and equipped young people to live effective and productive lives - helping us to teach young adults character, discipline, and direction.

Happy autumn…
