Angie Fusco, Executive Director of Eagle Summit, has announced that a limited number of student scholarships have been made available for families seeking placement for their son at Eagle Summit. "These scholarships are made available to families that qualify and can greatly reduce the costs associated with residential care. This great opportunity to reach young men and families otherwise would not be able to afford treatment for their sons. It also gives us the opportunity to showcase what I think is a great program in Eagle Summit."

Eagle Summit has had a busy but adventurous summer! Located in the Ozark National Scenic Riverways the Current and Jacks Fork River, the boys have completed over 100 miles of canoeing. The Current and Jacks Fork rivers remain almost as wild and natural as the day Indians lightly tread the Ozark trails. The students had a great time, and with the warm temperatures, the cold water was refreshing and invigorating. Not only did the boys have fun but they were taught skills to develop mindfulness and emotional regulation.

In keeping with its emphasis on physical fitness, we have encouraged our boys to participate in community events. We had two of our residents compete in The Cannibal 5k run in downtown Hannibal, MO. The boys placed in the 80's out of over 800 plus runners. The race is a certified USA track and field course. The team at Eagle Summit is dedicated to the success of each young man who comes to our program.
