After careful consideration, today Three Springs, Inc. announced plans to consolidate two of its outdoor therapeutic programs in Alabama and Tennessee. Starting in October, Three Springs will re-locate the Duck River program near Nashville, TN to Paint Tock Valley in Trenton, Alabama.

"Our highest priority is the care of our students and families during this time of change," said Gary Saliba, CEO, Three Spring. "We will be working hard with our families, their referring professionals and educational consultants and our employees to make this transition as smooth as possible."

The decision to re-locate the program to the Paint Rock Valley Campus is part of the company's strategic initiative designed to enhance Three Springs' clinical services and upgrade its existing facilities. Dr. Mark Horner has recently joined Three Springs as E.P. of Private Programs and will lead the effort. Horner will be responsible for program development, clinical supervision and training at all outdoor therapeutic programs as well as the Auldern Academy in Siler City, NC.

"The environment facing our teenagers is changing and we need to change to meet the growing needs of our families," stated Dr. Horner. "Our plan is to re-focus our efforts in order to leverage our resources to build stronger programs. With these two programs we intend to retain the core competencies of each in order to better serve our existing students."

Three Springs will also be working closely with our employees to ensure a smooth transition. Many have been offered an opportunity to join existing programs within Three Springs if they so choose. No decision has been made yet regarding the status of the property.

"For the past 20 years, the staff at our Duck River campus have changed the lives of so many families and especially the young teenagers who have walked this campus." Said Saliba "our staff should be proud of their and I want to take this moment to praise their efforts.
